How far in advance should transport be booked in Islamabad?

Airport transfers need twelve to twenty-four hours, day car rentals two to three days, and Hiace vans three to four days. Coasters and buses for weddings, school trips and corporate events need seven to fourteen days. Northern trips of four days or more need two to three weeks. Wedding season from October to March and the summer travel peak tighten availability considerably.

Are fuel, toll and driver allowance included in the quoted rate?

On fixed-route trips such as airport transfers, Murree round trips and intercity runs, fuel and toll are usually included. Open day hire is often quoted fuel-excluded, which can add Rs 4,000 to Rs 10,000 a day. Out-of-city overnight trips carry a driver allowance of roughly Rs 1,500 to Rs 2,500 per night. Ask for the all-inclusive figure when comparing quotes.

Which areas do drivers pick up from?

All Islamabad sectors from F-6 to G-13, plus E-11, I-8, I-9, Blue Area, DHA Phase 2 and 5, Bahria Town, Gulberg Greens, and Rawalpindi including Saddar, Satellite Town, Chaklala and Bahria Town Phase 8. Pickup inside the twin cities is normally free. Positioning charges apply for Taxila, Wah, Murree and other locations outside that radius.

Can I request a female driver or a specific vehicle model?

Yes to both, with enough notice. Female drivers require three to four days because the pool is small. Specific models such as a 2022 Grand Cabin, a Land Cruiser V8 or a particular imported sedan should be requested at least a week ahead. State the requirement clearly at booking so the operator confirms it rather than substituting on the day.

What is the usual payment and cancellation arrangement?

Airport transfers and day rentals are commonly paid on completion or with a small advance. Coasters, buses, wedding cars and multi-day northern trips normally need a twenty-five to fifty per cent advance to hold the vehicle. Cancellation is usually free up to forty-eight to seventy-two hours before, with the advance forfeited inside that window. Get the terms in writing before transferring anything.

Do vehicles come with air conditioning and how is it priced?

Cars and Hiace vans are quoted with air conditioning as standard. Coasters and buses come in both versions, and the non air-conditioned option is roughly twenty-five to thirty per cent cheaper, which matters for large group bookings. In May to August, confirm the air conditioning is serviced, and for hill routes ask whether it holds up on long inclines.
