Use the dealership while the car is under warranty, since independent work usually voids it. Out of warranty, a good independent workshop in I-10 or G-8 charges 30 to 50 percent less for the same job and often finishes faster. For electronics, hybrid systems and anything needing manufacturer software, the dealership is still the safer choice.

How much is workshop labour in Islamabad in 2026?

Independent workshops charge Rs 1,500 to Rs 2,500 an hour, and authorised dealerships Rs 3,500 to Rs 6,000. A diagnostic scan is Rs 1,500 to Rs 3,000 and is usually adjusted against the repair.
