The five-star properties cluster around Blue Area, F-5 and the edge of the diplomatic enclave, where a standard room in 2026 runs Rs 45,000 to Rs 80,000 a night before taxes. The three- and four-star layer spreads through F-6, F-7, F-8, F-10 and Blue Area side streets at Rs 9,000 to Rs 22,000. Check what the rate actually covers. Most Islamabad hotels quote before sales tax on services, and several add a service charge on top of that. Breakfast is usually bundled at mid-range level and billed separately at the top end. Confirm generator or UPS backup in writing, parking if you are driving, and the check-out time, which is noon at most properties and stretchable to 2pm outside peak weeks.
