Purpose-built halls and marquees line Kuri Road, Park Road, Chak Shahzad and the Islamabad Expressway; the sector halls are in G-9, G-11, I-8, I-10 and F-11; and the hotel banquet rooms sit around Blue Area, F-5 and F-6. Rawalpindi adds a second belt through Saddar, Peshawar Road, Adiala Road and Bahria Town. Rates, closing times and catering rules differ across these belts, so the same guest count can cost very differently.
Most families book three to six months ahead. October through March is peak season here, and Saturday and Sunday dinner slots in that window are taken early, sometimes a full season in advance. Expect per-head catering of roughly Rs 1,800 to Rs 4,500 at independent halls, marquees and lawns, Rs 6,000 and above at five-star banquet rooms, plus a venue rent that runs from Rs 80,000 to more than Rs 5 lakh depending on the address, the date and the season.
