This is the index of places; /hotels is the index of accommodation. Use this page when the destination is still an open question — comparing two valleys for the same week, or working out what is still reachable off-season. Go to /hotels when you already know the town and just want rooms. Every destination below links to both.

Which destinations are in season in July?

Murree, Bhurban, Nathia Gali, Naran, Kaghan, Shogran, Swat (Mingora), Kalam and 7 more are in their peak months in July. Peak means rooms are tight and rates sit at the top of the band, so book earlier and expect less negotiating room. Everywhere else on the list is on the shoulder or in its quiet season.

What do the Peak, Open and Off-peak badges mean?

Peak means the month you are reading this in is one of that destination's peak months. Open means you are on the shoulder of the peak — usually good value with most things still running. Off-peak means the quiet part of the year: the best rates available, but in the northern valleys quiet often means the road or the hotel is shut, so read the season note on the destination page.

Do you cover places that are not on this list?

The pages cover the destinations listed here. A request for somewhere else still reaches a person — send it through the form or on WhatsApp and we will tell you plainly whether we have verified providers there rather than quietly forwarding it to nobody.

Do any of these destinations need a permit?

Neelum Valley carries a permit notice for foreign nationals, and its destination page explains it. No permit requirement is recorded for the rest of the list, but rules for restricted areas do change, so confirm before you travel if you hold a foreign passport.

How to read this list

This is the place index. If you already know you want a room, the hotels page is the faster route — it opens straight onto the accommodation hub for each city. Use this page when the destination itself is the open question: when you are choosing between two valleys for the same week, or working out which northern town is still reachable in November.

Every entry carries the province it sits in, what kind of place it is, the months it peaks, the nightly floor and the destinations travellers most often pair it with. The city link goes to everything bookable there — hotels plus whichever other categories have verified providers — and the hotels link goes straight to the rooms.

Coverage is uneven on purpose. The northern belt holds most of the destinations below, because that is where the valleys, lakes and hill stations are, and it is also where a booking desk earns its keep: many of those properties have no website and no online availability at all. The metros are a different job — steady, year-round demand for business stays, weddings, hospital visits and family travel.
