Banquet Hallsin Islamabad & Rawalpindi

This desk started in Islamabad, so this is where our data runs deepest. Everything below is written for Islamabad and Rawalpindi specifically — other cities are covered, in less detail.

Banquet halls differ from standard marriage halls mainly in finish and service. The hotel ballrooms in Blue Area, F-5, F-6 and F-8 come with in-house kitchens, valet parking and a banquet manager assigned to your event. Independent banquet halls in F-10, E-11, G-13 and DHA Phase 2 sit between the two, offering hotel-style interiors at closer to hall pricing.

Expect Rs 2,500 to Rs 4,500 per head at independent banquet halls in 2026 and Rs 6,000 to Rs 12,000 per head at five-star ballrooms, where outside catering is almost never allowed. Halls seating 150 to 300 suit nikkah and walima functions; the larger ballrooms take 500 to 800. Minimum guarantee counts are common, so you pay for a floor number even if fewer guests arrive.

Check the minimum guarantee, the corkage or outside-cake policy, and whether the quoted rate includes the 16 percent sales tax on services. Ask to see the hall dressed for an event rather than empty, confirm the ceiling height if you plan a heavy stage, and clarify how long the setup team gets access before the function starts.
