Book Ayubia Trips in Islamabad

Ayubia sits in the Galiyat about two and a half hours from Islamabad, and its chairlift, forest walks and national park make it a straightforward family destination. Most trips combine Ayubia with Nathia Gali, twenty minutes further, or stop at Murree on the return leg. The park itself has marked walking routes through pine and fir forest and a small viewpoint area.

Shared day trips run Rs 5,000 to Rs 7,000 per person including transport and a coordinator, and private car trips Rs 20,000 to Rs 28,000. The chairlift is paid separately at roughly Rs 500 to Rs 1,000 per adult, and park entry is modest. Combining Ayubia and Nathia Gali in one day is comfortable if you leave Islamabad by 6.30 am.

The chairlift can close in high wind or maintenance without notice, so treat it as a bonus rather than the point of the trip. Walking shoes matter, since the forest paths are damp for much of the year. Monkeys along the roadside are used to visitors and should not be fed, and the park gets busy on weekends by mid-morning.
