Padel Courts in Karachi

Karachi took to padel earlier and harder than anywhere else in Pakistan, and the courts sit where the sport's players live. DHA Phases 5, 6 and 8 hold the densest cluster, with more in Clifton and along the Khayaban roads, and a second group inland in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Gulistan-e-Johar and off Shahrah-e-Faisal near Karsaz. Because the city is so spread out, the useful question is not which venue is best but which one is inside twenty minutes of you at 8 pm on a weekday.

Off-peak daytime hours start near Rs 3,500. Weekday evenings from 7 pm to 11 pm and weekend slots run Rs 5,000 to Rs 8,000, which is Rs 1,250 to Rs 2,000 each across four players. Rackets are either included or Rs 300 to Rs 600 a set. Evening slots in DHA and Clifton are the hardest to get and typically go three to five days ahead; courts between 11 am and 5 pm are often half the evening rate, which from April onwards is a heat problem rather than a bargain.

The climate shapes the calendar completely. November to February is the good season — dry, mild, sea breeze — and it is also when the courts are fullest. April to June is hot and humid enough that daytime play on an open court is unpleasant at any price, so bookings compress into 9 pm and later. July and August bring the monsoon: a heavy shower closes open courts and floods approach roads around Gulshan and Shahrah-e-Faisal within the hour, and most venues reschedule a rained-out slot rather than refund it. Covered courts cost roughly ten to twenty percent more and earn it from April onwards. A regular weekly four can usually negotiate ten to twenty percent off a fixed recurring slot.
