The sector grid decides where you play. There is no room for courts inside F-6, F-7 or Blue Area, so the venues sit where the newer development is: DHA Phase 2 and Gulberg Greens on the Expressway side, E-11 and F-11 at the western end of the sectors, and a cluster around Chak Shahzad. Rawalpindi players mostly use the Bahria Town phases. From F-7 or G-11 the practical choice is E-11 or F-11 on a weekday, and DHA Phase 2 if you are already heading down the Expressway.

Rates track the clock rather than the venue. Daytime hours between 11 am and 5 pm start near Rs 3,500 and are the cheapest court time in the city. Weekday 7 pm to 11 pm and weekend slots run Rs 5,000 to Rs 8,000, which across four players is Rs 1,250 to Rs 2,000 each. Rackets are included or Rs 300 to Rs 600 a set. The 8 pm and 9 pm weekday slots are the ones that go three to five days ahead, and a fixed weekly slot is usually worth ten to twenty percent off, because the venue stops having to resell it.

Islamabad's playing year has two interruptions and both are worth planning around. June and July regularly cross forty degrees, which makes an open court unusable through the afternoon and pushes everything to 9 pm and later. March, April, July and August bring the rain that cancels open-court slots outright, and the July and August monsoon downpours are heavy enough to close Margalla trails as well — the covered venues are the ones that hold their evening bookings through those weeks, at roughly ten to twenty percent more per hour. Most venues reschedule a rained-out open-court booking rather than refund it, so ask which policy applies before you pay.
