Entry-test preparation is a distinct market from school tuition, with its own calendar and its own academies. The main products in Islamabad are MDCAT and ECAT preparation, NTS and NAT batches, university-specific tests for NUST, FAST and GIKI, SAT and GRE for overseas applications, and CSS or PMS academies clustered in Blue Area and G-9.

MDCAT and ECAT full courses run Rs 60,000 to Rs 1.5 lakh for a four to six month programme. NUST NET and FAST preparation is Rs 35,000 to Rs 80,000. Judge an academy by its test schedule, not its result claims. Ask how many full-length mock tests are included, whether results are ranked so you can see where you stand, and who teaches your batch. Verify advertised results independently where possible, since selection numbers are widely inflated in this segment.
