Gym Day Passesin Islamabad & Rawalpindi

This desk started in Islamabad, so this is where our data runs deepest. Everything below is written for Islamabad and Rawalpindi specifically — other cities are covered, in less detail.

Day passes suit two groups: travellers staying a few nights in Blue Area, F-6 or F-7 who want a proper gym rather than a hotel corner, and residents trying a gym before paying for a month. Rates in 2026 start near Rs 1,200 at neighbourhood gyms in G-9, I-8 and PWD, run Rs 2,000 to Rs 3,500 at larger facilities in F-10, E-11, DHA Phase 2 and Bahria Town, and reach Rs 4,000 or more at hotel fitness clubs.

Check what the pass covers. Some include only the weights floor, while others add cardio, classes, sauna and pool access, which changes the value considerably. Ask about separate women timings, which most Islamabad gyms operate, and whether the gym runs on generator or solar during outages. A gym without backup power in June is unusable for half the afternoon.

Weekly and fortnightly passes usually exist even when they are not advertised, at roughly four to five times the day rate, which is far better value for a visit of several days. Monthly memberships across the city run Rs 6,000 to Rs 20,000. Peak floor hours are 6pm to 9pm on weekdays; mornings before 9am are consistently the quietest.
