Honeymoon packages in this region take two shapes. City packages use a suite or executive room in a Blue Area or F-5 hotel with room decoration, a cake, a private dinner and late check-out, generally Rs 25,000 to Rs 60,000 a night. Hill packages use valley-view rooms in Bhurban, Murree or Nathia Gali across two or three nights, often bundled with breakfast, one dinner and a car for local sightseeing.

The decoration is worth pinning down in advance. Standard inclusions are flower work on the bed, candles or lights, a cake and a fruit basket. Elaborate arrangements with balloon walls or extensive floral setups are usually a separate charge of Rs 8,000 to Rs 25,000 through an outside decorator that the hotel permits. Confirm what the photograph you were shown actually costs, because sample images are frequently upgraded versions.

Timing matters. Wedding season from October to March is exactly when honeymoon demand peaks, so suites in Bhurban go four to six weeks ahead for weekends. Ask about check-in time, since most weddings end late and a 2pm arrival is not much use; many hotels will hold an early check-in if you book the previous night at a reduced rate or ask when you confirm.
