Tennis in Islamabad is mostly club and academy based. Courts operate around F-6, F-8, F-9 near Fatima Jinnah Park, in the Pakistan Sports Complex area, and at newer academies in DHA Phase 2, Bahria Town and Gulberg Greens. Non-member hourly rates start near Rs 1,500 in daylight and run Rs 2,500 to Rs 4,000 for floodlit evening slots on well-maintained hard courts.

Coaching is easy to add and often the reason people book. Group sessions run Rs 6,000 to Rs 12,000 a month for two or three classes a week; private coaching sits at Rs 2,500 to Rs 5,000 an hour. Check whether balls are provided, whether the court surface has been resurfaced recently, and whether the venue lets non-members book directly or requires a member reference.

The season peaks from September to November and again from February to April, when the weather suits daytime play. In June and July only floodlit evening slots after 7pm are realistic. Weekend mornings book out a week ahead at the busier academies, while weekday mornings are consistently available and priced at the bottom of the range.
