Ask how much clear wall space exists, whether pinning or taping to the walls is permitted, how many flip chart stands are available, and whether the tables can actually be moved or are fixed. Confirm whether the day rate covers setup the evening before, tea and lunch service inside or outside the room, and materials such as sticky notes and markers, which some venues supply and others do not. Book one to two weeks ahead, and longer for hackathons needing overnight access, which only a minority of Islamabad venues permit and always at a premium.
