Monthly arrangements for school runs and office commuting are usually Rs 65,000 to Rs 95,000 depending on hours and daily distance. Half-day bookings of four to five hours are commonly quoted at Rs 7,000 to Rs 9,500.

Book at least three to four days ahead, and a week for a recurring school-run arrangement, because a driver has to be assigned rather than dispatched. Ask for the driver licence and CNIC details before the first trip, agree a fixed daily timing, and where possible keep the same driver so the routine and route become familiar.
