Table reservations matter most in a few predictable windows: Friday and Saturday from 7 to 9 pm, the whole of Ramadan at Iftar, and Eid and Mother's Day weekends. The Kohsar Market and Jinnah Super restaurants in F-6 and F-7, the Margalla-facing rooftops, and the family-heavy places in F-10 and E-11 are the ones where walking in means a thirty to sixty minute wait.

Per-head spend in 2026 runs roughly Rs 1,500 to Rs 3,000 at mid-range restaurants in F-10, E-11 and Bahria Town, Rs 2,500 to Rs 5,000 at the better F-6 and F-7 rooftops, and Rs 4,000 to Rs 9,000 at hotel restaurants in Blue Area and F-5. Most restaurants hold a reserved table only fifteen to twenty minutes past the booked time.

State the seating preference at booking rather than on arrival, since rooftop, indoor, family cabin and open floor are effectively different restaurants inside one address.
