Buffets are how most large Islamabad groups eat out, because the per-head price is fixed and service is fast. Hotel dinner buffets in Blue Area, F-5, F-6 and F-8 run Rs 4,500 to Rs 9,000 per head in 2026. Restaurant buffets in F-10, E-11, Bahria Town, DHA and Saddar sit at Rs 1,800 to Rs 3,500, with lunch buffets cheaper than dinner at the same venue.

Sessions are fixed: lunch usually 12.30 to 3.30 and dinner 7 to 11, with counters closing thirty to forty-five minutes before the session ends. Friday and Saturday dinners at the popular venues fill from 8 pm, and Ramadan changes the schedule entirely, with Iftar buffets replacing normal dinner service across the city.

Confirm whether the advertised rate includes the 16 percent sales tax on services, since hotel buffets almost always exclude it.
