Physiotherapy is generally arranged in courses rather than single visits, most often after orthopaedic surgery, for back and neck pain, sports injuries and post-stroke rehabilitation. Clinics operate in F-8, F-10, F-11, Blue Area, DHA and Bahria Town, and many therapists also do home visits, which matters when a patient cannot travel comfortably after surgery.

Clinic sessions run Rs 2,500 to Rs 4,500 each, and home visits Rs 4,000 to Rs 8,000 depending on the sector and travel distance. Packages of ten sessions are usually discounted by ten to fifteen per cent. A typical course is six to twelve sessions over three to six weeks, though the treating therapist decides that, not this site.

Ask for the therapist qualification and registration, whether the same therapist will conduct the whole course, and what equipment is available at the clinic.
